Updates…
I am currently on my third cup of coffee today and trying my best to cram as much school writing in as possible. I have to admit writing grad school papers is not nearly as much fun as writing books. Fact.
The school piece has delayed my writing schedule as well. I only have three more weeks of classes and then I hope to return to writing the second book. Somewhere a few weeks ago I was somewhat delusional and thought I could write fiction along with taking two intense crammed summer courses for clinical counseling. (yep, I had no clue.)
In the meantime, I hope you check out First Fall to hold you over. I am considering writing 
another short story between the two novels since my school schedule has set things back a wee bit. I will update everyone as that progresses into reality or not.
I hope everyone is having a great summer and staying cool. Sheesh, I never thought that I would ever think that 94°F/34°C was just warm.
Okay, I seriously have to get back to writing about group counseling. Don’t be jealous. (I know you’re not.)

First Fall is out! It is currently available on my website (books page) and Smashwords. I have it set to be distributed through Smashwords to Amazon, Barns and Noble, Kobo etc but at this time, it has not been uploaded. I have noticed that there is a delay in the channel distribution at Smashwords, and I assume it is due to the high volume of independent books being published these days.

Take a second to think about writers you know, like the critique partner who works with you to improve your manuscript. The writing friend who listens, supports and keeps you strong when times are tough. The author who generously offers council, advice and inspiration when asked.
So many people take the time to make us feel special, don’t they? They comment on our blogs, re-tweet our posts, chat with us on forums and wish us Happy Birthday on Facebook.

It has been a month since my last post; things have been all over the place, which means my posts will be random and sporadic. I am in the midst of some personal and professional changes in my life. Life can be hectic all by itself and when trying to find the time to write a sequel along with those changes can be even more challenging.

It’s been four months since I released Shadowed Souls. That’s just crazy. I have been busy writing a short story, which is a prequel to Shadowed Souls and that is currently being edited. I will let everyone know when it will be available. I am still writing the second book in the series and I can’t wait to share with everyone the trouble Ava gets herself into next.
I am looking forward to this weekend being St. Patrick’s day. I’m starting Saturday off with running a race before I join in on all the festivities. I have to admit that I will NOT be drinking any green beer, nor have I ever. Why drink green beer when you can drink a Guinness?

I am putting the ebook version of Shadowed Souls on sale for .99 cents for a limited time. I figured since my main characters are Irish it only makes sense to celebrate their heritage for the whole month of March. Of course it helps that I am Irish too and enjoy Saint Patrick’s day.
